B.H.Sc (Acu)

Heidi Weiss is the founder and director of AcuHealth Acupuncture Clinic, which first opened its doors in September of 2004 in The Grange on Brisbane’s northside. Since then, Heidi’s commitment and passion for developing a personal connection with her clients has led to the exponential growth of the clinic. In 2010, AcuHealth moved to its current location in the heart of Wilston.

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) and is a registered Acupuncturist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

Starting her studies directly after completing year 12, Heidi originally entered into acupuncture due to her passion for health and fitness with the assumption she would be treating musculoskeletal disorders.  During her study, she discovered a whole new realm of thinking, diagnosing, and treating. This ignited her interest in women’s health; encompassing hormonal imbalances, pregnancy care, post-natal care, menopause and fertility, both natural and assisted (IVF, IUI).

Having been a practitioner for over 15 years and working with many other modalities including chiropractic, naturopathy, kinesiology and massage, Heidi strongly believes and understands the holistic approach works best.  With her broad knowledge of the human body and personal passion for health, she enjoys educating and informing patients.

Heidi is available for appointments on

B.H.Sc (Acu)

Since completing her Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) degree in Acupuncture, Anthea has had additional experience in the field of female health and fertility with practical training in IVF and IUI support. She endeavours to work closely with gynaecologists and obstetricians to receive the best results for the client and understands how acupuncture can also be used for pregnancy and post-pregnancy care.

Apart from working with fertility clients she also works with a range of other conditions related to muscle tension, postural pain, as well as mental and emotional well-being.
Anthea believes that helping a client to develop an understanding of Chinese medicine whilst working with other medical practitioners allows a client to manage their own healthcare as well as provide a holistic treatment strategy.

She is continually furthering her own knowledge and skills through regular acupuncture professional forums and private study.

Anthea is a registered acupuncturist with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and the national Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of the ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society) professional association.

Megan joined our team in July 2018. Since her graduation from Endeavour College of Natural Health in early 2017, Megan has been treating patients with a special focus on fertility, pregnancy and female health.  She is currently studying for her Masters in Reproductive Medicine at UNSW.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) and is a registered Acupuncturist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

By fortunate chance, whilst living in Tasmania, Megan detected her love for the Chinese language and culture. Whilst studying, Megan received a scholarship to study at a university in Taiwan for a semester, which led to her graduation with a diploma of Chinese Language in 2013. From there, her interest in Chinese Philosophy and Chinese Medicine peaked. She found her lifelong belief in natural health was reflected beautifully in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Next to her acupuncture studies, Megan travelled to China to practice alongside Chinese Medicine Doctors at the hospital of Nanning.

Being herself a parent to a young man, Megan is passionate about supporting you and your family on your way to a healthy life, body, mind and spirit.

CHRISTIN ZELLER - Receptionist

Christin joined our team in March 2018 to support the clinic with reception and marketing tasks. Next to her ongoing Acupuncture studies at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, Christin works as a Chinese Five Elements Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach.

Christin happened to have her first Chinese medicine consultation in 2009 which left her deeply impressed with its immediate impact on her health. This marked the beginning of an amazing journey, from corporate marketing management into the life-long learning of Chinese medicine.

After completing a diploma as a Nutritionist Coach of Five Elements, her desire to deepen her knowledge of the meridian system took her on journeys from her home in Germany/Switzerland to Shanghai and finally to Brisbane.

Christin is on reception on Thursdays.
